    The story

    Every piece in this 8-piece holiday bundle began as a branch of a wild olive tree on the island of Lesvos — the same island where, a few years ago, our makers arrived by boat with little more than the clothes on their backs. Today they spend their days in a small workshop, carving olive wood into utensils sold around the world. Every piece is signed by the hand that made it and traceable back to its maker by QR code. When you cook with these utensils, you're holding a small piece of that story — Greek olive groves, refugee craftsmanship, and the slow, deliberate work of rebuilding a life one piece at a time.

    Hand wash only, with mild soap and warm water — never soak or place in the dishwasher. Towel dry immediately and let them air dry fully before storing. Every 1–2 months (or whenever the wood looks dry), rub a thin coat of food-safe mineral oil or olive oil or care balm into the utensils with a soft cloth, let it absorb overnight, then wipe off any excess. With this simple ritual, your utensils will stay smooth, water-resistant, and beautiful for decades.

    Each piece is carved one at a time from a single block of olive wood, so grain pattern, color and shape will vary slightly. That's part of what makes yours one of a kind.
